What Is Green Lighting?
Green Lightning is a cool new visual overhaul of the Lightning fruit. It gives you a different colour of lightning, though mechanically it doesn’t change how the Lightning powers work, it’s just a way to match your look better, or flex on your PVP opponents.
How Do You Get Green Lightning?
Update: The Green Lightning is no longer available from the Summer Gacha. We’ll update here if it becomes available again, but it may be gone forever. 🙁
Surprisingly enough you do not need to start with the Lightning Fruit in order to get Green Lightning. Green Lightning is actually a separate fruit completely, and it’s available via the Summer Gacha. No idea what that means? Okay, let’s get into that.
The Summer Gacha is a limited event that appeared with the reveal of the Lightning Update. You can access it via the Fruit Gacha NPC. This NPC is on the highest rock on the first Jungle island in the First Sea, in the Cafe in the Second Sea, and in the Mansion in the Third Sea. When you speak to the NPC, select the ‘Summer’ dialogue option to access the Summer Gacha. (You also need to be at least Level 50 for this.)
The Summer Gacha requires Summer Tokens. You can get Summer Tokens through defeating enemies electrified via the Lightning Event. These events happen each hour, and cause low-level enemies on most islands to become electrified. Killing these lightning enemies gives you Summer Tokens.
Once you get 500 Tokens, you can spin the Summer Gacha. There are a bunch of different fruit up for grabs, and one is the Green Lightning Fruit. You might have to spin repeatedly until you get the Green Lightning Fruit.
