How To Get Luck In Fisch
Right, let’s talk Luck.
What Is Luck?
Luck is a stat that can determine the rarity of your catch in Fisch. The more Luck you have, the more likely you are to catch rarer fish. Conversely, the lower the Luck, the more likely to are to catch more common, less pricey fish. So, understandably, most people want as much Luck as they can get hold of.
How Do You Get More Luck?
There are a few ways to improve your Luck, so let’s outline them below.
Rod Type
Different fishing rods have differing amounts of Luck! Some are very lucky, though with early and midgame rods specifically, this is often a trade-off between Luck and other stats.
The luckiest rods currently are:
- Fortune Rod – 110 Luck
- Costs a cool 12,750 C$ from the Roslit Blacksmith. This gives great Luck and can handle heavier fish, though takes a big hit to resilience and lure speed as a trade-off.
- Rod Of The Forgotten Fang – 140 Luck
- This rod is accessed via the crafting mechanic in the Ancient Archives, with luck being one of its many assets.
- Rod Of The Eternal King – 160 Luck
- Another crafted Rod, this not only has a good base stat, but can achieve a 150% Luck boost occasionally via its passive ability.
- Heaven’s Rod – 225 Luck
- Accessed by completing the puzzle atop the Northern Summit, one of the game’s best rods boasts a Luck stat to match.
- Destiny Rod – 250 Luck
- This one is available from The Arch for 190,000C$ when you’ve filled over 70% of the Bestiary. That is one incredibly Lucky Rod, at an incredibly high price. Definitely qualifies as a late-game item in our books.
- Fungal Rod – Luck Buff
- The Fungal Rod is available through Agaric’s quest in Mushgrove Swamp. Its stats might not look super impressive at first glance, but it has a secret. When you use the Fungal Rod it has a chance to create spores, which give you a Luck IV buff. Oarsome!
Enchants
Enchanting your fishing rod at the altar under the Statue Of Sovereignty can have a big effect on Luck. Not all of them are positive, though, your fishing rod might get cursed! Here are the ones that affect Luck.
- Lucky – Increases the rod’s Luck by 20%.
- Divine – Increases the rod’s Luck by 45%.
- Breezed – Luck increases by 65% when it’s windy.
- Storming – Luck increases by 95% when it’s rainy.
- Putrid – Decreases Luck by 10%
- Immortal (Exalted Enchant) – Increases the rod’s Luck by 75%
