What Is The Deadly Nadder?
The Deadly Nadder is a rideable dragon, and the third one you can collect in the game’s progress. It’s a dragon with a large wingspan, two long hind legs, and a large head with a horn on its snout. You can use the Nadder on quests and in the upcoming boss fight if its skills suit your playstyle.
How Do You Unlock The Deadly Nadder?
To unlock the Dead Nadder you need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Complete the tutorial with the Night Fury.
- Unlock the Gruesome Gronckle on the first challenge island by destroying all the targets then interacting with the caged Gronckle.
- Reach Dragon Rider Level 5. You do this by gaining XP, which you get by flying through rings, destroying targets, catching fish, and bonding with your Night Fury or Gruesome Gronkle.
- Make your way to the second island.
- Destroy the flaming catapult targets; these are notably tougher and hit harder than the targets on the first challenge island.
- Once all the targets are destroyed, flying down next to the Nadder’s cage, dismount your dragon, and interact with the cage to free the Deadly Nadder.
- Congrats, the dragons is yours!
