How To Get The Grow A Garden Celestial Mutation
What Is The Celestial Mutation?
The Celestial Mutation is a special plant mutation that gives the affected crop a multicolored sparkle. (Not the rainbow halo of the rainbow mutation.) It can also make the crop appear a pale mauve color. This is pretty and all, but probably not what is most exciting about it.
Crops with the Celestial Mutation sell for a massive 120 times their default sale value. If you apply that to high-value crops like dragonfruit, it’s very easy to pull tens of millions. If it hits a Candy Blossom… well. You can use your imagination.
How Do You Get Celestial Crops?
Celestial Mutations are the result of crops being out during a Meteor Shower event. During these events, falling stars rain from the sky and strike random areas of the map. If they strike an area in your garden, all crops within a radius around the impact point become Celestial.
Meteor Showers have a chance to happen during Night events, or Blood Moon events, they do not happen at other times. If you want the maximum amount of Celestial crops from the event, you can buy a tool called a Star Caller from the Blood Moon Shop for 12 million. This will increase the likelihood of falling stars striking the area around it. Place it near your most expensive plants and watch the fireworks.
