How To Get The Rune and Key Badges in Dress To Impress
Obtaining The DTI Rune
Before obtaining the key, you must first get the Rune. This is relatively simple to achieve, as all you must do is play two rounds, only wearing the new Halloween items.
The Halloween items are framed by thorned roots and flowers in the centre of the dressing room, facing the plaque that reads ‘Lana’s Salon’ on the wall. Chances are, you won’t be on theme, but the goal isn’t to win, luckily.
Obtaining the DTI Key
After getting the Rune, you’ll unlock the teleporter to the Lina Quest. This section is a series of tasks, which you can do solo or with other players to speed up the process.
Backstage
First, investigate backstage. You’ll find a few interactable objects, including a Lantern and a Mirror.
Return the Ravens
Next, return 3 Ravens into the cages. The first three Ravens you find are fakes, but are necessary to proceed.
- First Fake Raven: Usually on the stairs heading up the colosseum.
- Second Fake Raven: Reveals itself after turning all the statues to face forward. It will perch on the balcony at the top of the colosseum.
- Third Fake Raven: Rests near the top of the stairs.
Real Ravens
- First Raven: held by a statue.
- Second Raven: Inside the crypt near the cages.
- Third Raven: Backstage and to the left. You’ll need to complete the small parkour.
Grand Library
The Raven quest unlocks the bedroom door, where you’ll find the key to the Grand Library. This area is the final quest and the most difficult.
First, find 6 books and bring them to the locked door. Whilst doing this, you need to avoid a monster that is alerted to sound and can see you at close range. I recommend avoiding stepping on glass.
You have 3 lives to do this, and will need to start over if you lose them all. I recommend doing this quest with other players, so they can help you and distract the enemy sometimes.
After finding all the books, you need to organise them to open the final door. As you find books, you’ll notice paper with matching icons to the books, followed by a number 1-6.
Once complete, you’ll enter a final cutscene before returning to the main game, where you can claim your Key.
