How To Get The Old Amber Mutation in Grow a Garden
Before developing the Old Amber mutation, you must first wait for your produce to gain the Amber Mutation (10x Value). This happens thanks to the Raptor pet, hailing from the Dinosaur Egg. Its ability, Clever Claws, has a 2-2.5% chance to mutate crops with Amber after collecting.
Old Amber (30x Value) develops after a player stays in the game for 24 hours. This mutation will not occur naturally offline. Similar to Wet fruit becoming Frozen, Amber and Old Amber don’t stack, meaning Old Amber is the same mutation but more valuable.
Ancient Amber Mutation
Ancient Amber (50x Value) takes the pipeline to the extreme! This valuable mutation happens when Old Amber ages over 72 real-world hours online. Again, this mutation does not stack with Amber or Old Amber. So, if you have the time and want to bear profitable produce, I recommend waiting 4 days (96 hours total) to get Ancient Amber.
