Monster Hunter Now is the latest game by the Pokémon GO developer, Niantic. It sees you exploring the real world as you seek monsters to hunt. When you defeat them, you loot their corpses for crafting materials. This allows you to craft new weapons and armour that you can equip to take on even more challenging monsters.
You can grab Monster Hunter Now on Google Play. We’ve also put together a Monster Hunter Now codes list, Monster Hunter Now block, and Monster Hunter Now Sword and Shield build.
Monster Hunter Now Bow Build
Now, let’s take a look at our Monster Hunter Now Bow build, including the best bows, equipment, and armour sets.
Monster Hunter Now Best Bows
There are actually a ton of great Monster Hunter Now Bows. It’s one of the more versatile weapon types, that you can build in a wide variety of ways. We’ve picked those that focus on damage, or synergise well with Equipment Skills that boost your damage.
However, there is a bit of a disclaimer: you should use Bows that trigger an enemy’s elemental weakness as a first priority. This list does include some of these Bows, but I’d prioritise an elemental weakness first as that will boost your damage the most.
Archer’s Dance
Archer’s Dance is the ultimate form of the Kulu Arrow Bow. It has great raw attack damage, 30% boost in Affinity, and the Equipment Skill Fortify, which boosts your damage following a faint. If you use this bow, don’t use healing potions until you die, as you want to trigger that skill.
It doesn’t have an elemental damage bonus, so bear that in mind. It’s a great all-rounder option against monsters.
- Attack: 1,596
- Element: None
- Special: None
- Affinity: 30%
- Equipment Skill: Fortify
Datura String
Datura String is the ultimate form of Blooming Arch. It’s a great Bow to use against enemies with a Poison weakness, combining terrific raw damage with a solid Special Attack bonus. Its real benefit is the Sneak Attack skill though, which drastically improves your damage when you attack from behind.
- Attack: 1,596
- Element: Poison
- Special: 400
- Affinity: 0%
- Equipment Skill: Sneak Attack
Kadachi Strikebow
The Kadachi Strikebow prioritises Thunder damage over raw attack potential, so you want to use it against enemies with a weakness to Thunder.
Aside from that, its primary benefit is the Evade Extender Equipment Skill. This will help you get behind enemies with greater ease, helping you trigger the Sneak Attack Equipment Skill.
- Attack: 1,293
- Element: Thunder
- Special: 910
- Affinity: 0%
- Equipment Skill: Evade Extender
Water Shot
This is the Water equivalent of the Kadachi Strikebow, focusing on elemental damage over raw attack. Its Last Stand Equipment Skill is also fantastic, boosting your damage as your health goes down. Don’t use health potions when you use this bow.
- Attack: 1,293
- Element: Water
- Special: 910
- Affinity: 0%
- Equipment Skill: Last Stand
Anja Arch
The Fire version of the above three weapons. The Anja Arch boosts your damage as the hunt timer ticks to a close, helping you finish off powerful monsters with huge HP bars. That’s thanks to its Rising Tide Equipment Skill.
- Attack: 1,293
- Element: Fire
- Special: 910
- Affinity: 0%
- Equipment Skill: Rising Tide
Diablos Coilbender
The Diablos Coilbender is in contention for the best bow in Monster Hunter Now. It has absolutely insane raw attack potential and Heroics is a fantastic Equipment Skill. It drastically boosts your health by a whopping 50% when your HP is below 29%.
Combine that with the already excellent attack potential of this weapon, and you have an incredibly heavy hitter.
- Attack: 1,979
- Element: None
- Special: None
- Affinity: 0%
- Equipment Skill: Heroics
