Prospecting Shovel Tier List
Never miss out on the shifting meta of tools throughout the updates by bookmarking this page and checking back soon! But, enough of that, let’s dig straight into the rankings.
S-TIER
The best of the best! These top-tier shovels have no notable flaws and are the best tools in the game. Unfortunately, they come at a high price, so you’ll need to sift through the lower tiers for a while first before you can afford the best around.
- Earthbreaker Shovel
- Divine Shovel
A-TIER
These high-end shovels have exceptional stats and are great alternatives to the top tier if you can’t afford them or fancy trying a different tool. They’re great on most terrains, with dismissible flaws, that don’t hinder their performance too much.
- Meteoric Shovel
- Diamond Shovel
- Golden Shovel
B-TIER
Nestled into the middle tier, these average shovels bridge the gap between being a noob and being a dedicated river panner! They have favourable stats and help you find rarer materials that once felt impossible to sift.
- The Excavator
- Reinforced Shovel
- Silver Shovel
C-TIER
These early-game shovels don’t offer anything grand and are easily replaceable when you get a bit of cash. I recommend picking up quests to help you escape this tier and afford a better shovel.
- Steel Shovel
- Iron Shovel
D-TIER
This lowly tier is reserved for the worst of the worst. As expected, it’s home to the one and only beginner shovel with its weak, lacklustre stats. Fortunately, playing the tutorial helps you escape this tier and get a better tool.
- Rusty Shovel
