About Soul Amalgam
Soul Amalgam is a crafting item. This means you use it to create pieces of equipment. In this case, it’s a major component for crafting Staff weapons. You can use Soul Amalgam to create the following items:
- Oak Staff
- Pine Staff
- Willow Staff
- Shadowsilver Staff
- Plasteel Staff
Staff give the Soul-borne perk, which gives you an extra ability slot while you’re using a staff weapon.
How To Get Soul Amalgam
Soul Amalgam is a crafting item, but it’s also crafted from raw materials. Crafting Soul Amalgam requires the following items, as well as Crafting Level 34 and Sorcery Level 32.
- 2 Soul Shroom
- 8 Soul Shard
Soul Shrooms are found in the Crystalline Caverns. This is found at the end of a path to the North East of the Fort Hollow Bonsai. You need Foraging Level 34 to get them.
Souls Shards are also found in the Crystalline Caverns. You need Mining Level 34 and 160% Power to acquire them.
Crafting is done via Gideon’s Forge and Gideon’s Anvil at the first Bonsai, so make sure to call back there to assemble the Soul Amalgam, and make your staff when you have the right amount of the material.
