What Does The Glider Do?
The Glider lets the user… glide. Yeah, the clue is kind of in the name. Equipping this allows you to lose altitude a lot more slowly when you jump, making it possible to reach all-new places. Some locations, such as the Sovereign Chasm and Temple are only accessible if you have the glider, so it’s an essential item if you want to experience all the content in Dig. (Unless someone has figured out some wild speedrunning jumping strategy, but we haven’t heard of one yet.)
How Do You Get The Glider?
You can find the Glider in two locations on Mount Cinder. In both, it’s for sale for $3,000. You can find the coordinates listed below. If they’re not helping, we’ll go into a little more detail below on how to get the easiest one.

Note: We’d highly recommend you use a vehicle to make this trip. We wouldn’t suggest walking all the way up Cinder Mountain, it will take a long time.
- The Glider is available on Mount Cinder, to get there, you first need to pass through Cinder Approach. You’ll find the entrance to the path in the Rooftop Woodlands at X 5036 Y 226 Z -291. Follow along this path, and it should send you on a long and winding trip up the mountain.
- Eventually, you should run into a small village area.
- In the village, turn to your left and head towards an area with cabins and a fire.
- The glider should be leaning up against a house.
- Interact with the Glider to buy it. (If you have the money.)
