Tokyo Ghoul: Break The Chains is a new gacha strategy RPG that dives into the murky underworld of an alternate Japan, and the monsters that lurk inside. It features some impressive cel-shaded visuals in an attempt to recreate the aesthetic of the hit anime.
You take on some familiar foes from the series using a card-based battle system, and use your best judgment to round up an unstoppable squad.

How do Our Tiers Work?
Our tiers run from best to worst and rank the general usefulness of the individual.
- S Tier: OP. The very best. You’re going to rule Tokyo with these at your side.
- A Tier: Not quite S-Tier, but nearly there. You can still hold your head high if you pull these.
- B Tier: Solid and dependable, if not amazing. Good workhorses but don’t waste too much on upgrades.
- C Tier: Below average. You might find a use for them, though.
- D Tier: Avoid them like they’re chasing you and trying to eat you.
How Did We Decide on the Rankings?
We pull our ranks from our own gameplay, and from community response. Tier lists aren’t always totally objective, and your playstyle might suit things we rank lower! So, feel free to argue with us in the comments.
