Type Soul Adjuchas Guide
Adjuchas is one of the few evolutionary lines you take before becoming an Arrancar. In short, the longer you spend evolving the Fishbone lineage, the stronger your Arrancar will be when you rip off your mask. You get to choose when the mask comes off, so there isn’t a limit to how long you spend evolving. The evolutionary line from Fishbone to Arrancar is the following:
- Fishbone
- Menos
- Adjuchas
- Vastolorde
- Arrancar
During any of these stages, you may pull off the mask which will automatically respawn you with a more humanoid appearance as an Arrancar player.
How To Become An Adjuchas
On my Arrancar save file, I also pulled off the mask after reaching Adjuchas! Becoming a Vastolorde is incredibly involved and I don’t feel that much weaker because of it. Though, this is a personal preference.
You’ll begin as a Fishbone, to evolve you need to fight other Hollows and consume their decaying bodies. Or, you can scrounge for corpses left from other battles. As a Fishbone, I’d recommend only fighting other Fishbones as every other evolution is much stronger.
When you evolve, you’ll become the towering Menos. Using your new Cero Beam ability you can stomp and battle other Hollows with a bit more stability. I found it quickest to kill a fellow Menos and absorb them which then triggered evolution.
Next, Adjuchas! These hunched-over Hollows have a long mane that lines their back. As an Adjuchas you can run around, punch, Cero Beam and do other movesets. This evolutionary line is a good place to stop and become an Arrancar if you’re not after the Vastolorde route which takes… A while.
How To Become An Arrancar
Once you’re happy with your evolution, you become an Arrancar by pulling off your mask. To do this, press CTRL + K and hold it for a few seconds until a small animation plays. When it’s complete, you’ll respawn as a humanoid with a katana and white outfit!
