Bankai is a high level of Shinigami power. While it’s not the peak of performance these days, it’s a huge bump in power from Shikai. We’ve put together this handy Type Soul Bankai tier list to try and help you decide whether to reroll before you take that crucial step.

Type Soul Bankai Tier List
Our tiers lists run from the best entries at the top, in S Tier, down to the least effective ones at the bottom in D Tier.
S Tier
The very best Bankai available in the game. If you have these they’ll give you a big edge in PVP, and make a lot of the PVE content a breeze. This sets you up for some great progress.

- Ink
- Flower
A Tier
Not necessarily as strong as S Tier, but very good. If you have the skills and get the practice in, you can still really dominate in PVP content with these.

- Assimiliation
- Suzumebachi
- Zangetsu
B Tier
Decent. These won’t hold you back, and they’re still viable in the PVP sphere. You will need to work at it more than you would otherwise, so it’s worth considering swapping out for something a bit better.

- Berserk
C Tier
These are okay, but a bit overwhelming. Using them puts you a little behind the curve, and you might have a hard time keeping up with more powerful users. We’d suggest rerolling this unless you’re super attached to it.

D Tier
Pretty useless. These just don’t have the power to be viable.
