The image shows my avatar in white robes with red pants performing a caramelldansen dance emote with her hands outstretched above her head as she sways her body side to side

If the chatbox isn’t doing your feelings justice, spice up your conversation with some emotes! My Type Soul Emotes Guide takes you through each of the emotes, and how to perform them.

Emotes are a fun feature of Type Soul, you may be familiar with the idea of emotes from the Roblox Animations feature. However, emotes are more community-based and Type Soul have way more available in their arsenal than Roblox!

Want to try TYPE://SOUL for yourself? Take a look now on Roblox. We’ve also got a Type SOUL codes guide, and a Type SOUL Arrancar guide for all you hopeful Hollows out there.

Type Soul Emotes Guide

Emotes aren’t something you need to unlock, nor are they race-specific. Every player can access emotes from the get-go! To perform an emote it’s as simple as entering /e into the chatbox followed by the emote action name.

Onto the list of all available emotes and their use:

  • Cheer – Your avatar will do a small air jump with their arms raised.
  • Wave – A simple and sweet hand wave. Great to wave hello or goodbye!
  • Laugh – Your avatar will chuckle behind one hand.
  • Caramell – My personal favourite! This dance takes inspiration from the most fun anime dance ever, Caramelldansen.
  • Dance – Do you remember Gangnam Style? This is basically that. Goated routine.
  • Dance2 – Your avatar will sway from side to side with their arms in the air, mimicking a wave.
  • Dance3 – Shake your arms in the air whilst bouncing from toe to toe.
  • Sturdy – Show off with an energetic dance!
  • Freestyle – Show off your most eccentric dance moves!
  • Rest – Your avatar will take a seated position looking rather mysterious.
  • Rest2 – Your avatar will sit with their resting outstretched.
  • Rest3 – The user squats with both hands in the air.
  • Rest4 – Sit cross-legged with both hands resting in your lap.
