What Does Hierro Plating Do?
Hierro Plating, when used, increases the strength of your Hierro, the Arrancar’s natural armor. You can only use it as an Arrancar, naturally.
You can upgrade your Hierro up to two times with Hierro Plating.
- The first increases your armor from 10 to 15.
- The second set of plating increases your armor from 15 to 21.
Beyond that, plating won’t improve your Hierro any further, so don’t waste too much time looking for more. You can always trade the spares you end up with, though.
How To Get Hierro Plating
There are currently three known ways to acquire Hierro Plating in the game. We’ve listed those below.
- Possible reward for winning a Raid.
- You can purchase them at the Karakura Town Raid Vendor for $40,000. You find the vendor on a top-floor balcony in the residential district.
- Bawabawa, the worm boss in Huece Mundo, may drop Hierro Plating on defeat. You might have to grind the boss multiple times to get what you want. It’s a good PVE option if you loathe PVP.
