Right, let’s get down to the details.
How Do You Get A Hollow Box?
First thing’s first, you’ll need an Arrancar character to take advantage of the Hollow Box. Quincies get their own version, the Spirit Box. You can also get Skill Boxes that bestow skill trees.
Hollow Boxes are acquired through raids. They show up as a raid reward if you’ve performed well, but if you don’t snag one then don’t despair, there are other ways!
You’ll need to find the KT Shop in Karakura Town’s residential district post-raid. There you’ll find an NPC on a top-floor balcony whom you can buy a Hollow Box from.
You’ll need to part with a cool $40,000 to get hold of a Hollow Box for yourself.
What’s Inside A Hollow Box?
Opening a Hollow Box gives you a Hollow weapon, a handy thing for your Arrancar to swing around. You won’t know what you’re getting until you’ve opened it, such is the nature of box items. As far as we can tell, you have a chance of getting one of the following weapons:
- Barragan’s Axe
- Grimmjows Claw
- Harribel’s Dagger
- Neliel’s Lance
- Nnoitra’s Scythe
- Ulquoirra’s Katana
- Wonderweiss’s Sword
