About Sanguine Spear
Sanguine Spear is a Universal skill. It lets you convert a small amount of your HP into a red projectile that you fire forwards in front of you at some speed. To use it you need to have Skill Points invested in just about any skill tree, so most characters with a bit of invested XP can make it work.
Keep in mind that Sanguine Spear’s usage does deplete health, which can work against you if you’re not careful. This is particularly noticeable now that there are no self-healing skills available in-game. If you need to finish off someone who’s trying to dip from a fight though, that might not be a problem.
How To Get Sanguine Spear
You can get Sanguine Spear from a Skill Box. In fact, due to the universal Skill Point requirement, you’re more likely to pick up a Sanguine Spear or Earthshatter than anything else, as you will only receive skills you’re qualified to use. This means if you’re under 25 points in all skill trees, you can only get Earthshatter or Sanguine Spear.
Another way to get it is with the better Skill Box item, the Skill Box Chooser. This lets you select the skill you want, if you’re able to learn it. You can get these from Boss Raids and Clan Wars, as well as through codes from time to time.
