There are many Races to choose from in Type Soul. Most are fairly easy to acquire, but the Type Soul Vizard Race is another matter entirely. Read on to learn how to become one.
Type Soul is a Roblox Action RPG based on Bleach: one of the original ‘Big 3’ of the anime world. It manages to capture a lot of the complexity of its source material, which results in some complex mechanics for players to figure out. The Vizard Race is one such mechanic, with an unlock process bordering on the cryptic. In this guide, I’ll break it down for you.

How To Get Vizard In Type Soul
In this guide, I’ll walk you through the process of converting your character into a Vizard step-by-step.
What Is A Vizard?
Vizard is a secret playable Race in Type Soul. It represents a character who’s a Soul Reaper, but with the power of a Hollow as well. This results in a balanced, powerful character in Type Soul, if you can get through the unlock process, that is.
How To Become A Vizard
Becoming a Vizard is a lengthy, three-step process. I’ve broken each step down below, for maximum possible ease.
Step 1 – Become A Soul Reaper
You can’t choose Vizard as one of the starting Race options, or earn it easily early on. Instead, you need to complete a fairly involved process in order to change your character into a Vizard. First of all, you’ll need to become a Soul Reaper. You can do this by dying in your initial human form, then speaking to a Shinigami and purifying yourself while in Lost Soul form.
Step 2 – Collect 10 Hogkoyu Fragments
Once this is done, you’ll need to gather 10 Hogyoku Fragments. These are ultra-rare items, given as rewards for completing Faction Raids 0.5% of the time. This means you’ll get one every 200 Faction Raids on average, and that you’ll probably need to complete around 2,000 Faction Raids in total to get the 10 that you need! If you’re going to attempt this, it’s better to have a dedicated team of friends with you.
Step 3 – Complete Your Assigned Quest
Once you have the Fragments, use them and you’ll be prompted to fight the Boss in the Waco Muno area. after beating it, you’ll receive a Mask. Equip it, and you’ll get one of three Quests to complete:
- Win 10 Raids of any type. These can be Faction Raids or Karakura Raids.
- Defeat 200 soul Reapers. This can include enemies and other players.
- Defeat your Shikai in Vizard form in the Shikai World. You can reach it by meditating.
Once your assigned Quest is done, you’ll become a Vizard! Enjoy the new powers it brings, and the bragging rights being a member of the rarest race in the game grant you.
