What Level Do You Have To Be To Go To Second Sea In Fisch?
Update 9th Of September 2025: As of the recent update, the Second Sea is no longer in the game. This means that most of the information in the guide is here for archive use only.
What Level?
As of the day of writing, you need to be Level 200 to enter the Second Sea. However, the next update appears to reduce the requirement down to Level 100. This is not currently live on the main game, but is available on the Fisch QA version, which tests new features.
So, expect to reach the Second Sea around Level 100 very soon! 19th of April is probably the day for the update.
How Does The Level Gate Work?
To get to the Second Sea, you need to defeat the Cthulhu boss. You can access this via the cave on Terrapin Island. Step inside and you’ll find yourself faced with a large gate, and a hallway full of cultists. If you speak to the cultist at the entrance, he’ll open the gate… but give a warning.
If you continue and you aren’t up to the right level, the cultists in the hallway won’t take kindly to your entry. They’ll blast you with fireballs, and you’ll end up Wasted, losing money in the process. On the other hand, if you’re over the top of the level gate, a cutscene should trigger and should let you proceed through the corridor and face the Cthulhu Boss.
