Usually, this takes the form of a major event change every two weeks, and a minor update to the existing event in the weeks between.
Should You Be There For The Update?
The biggest reason to be around for an update is the exclusive pets. Updates sometimes offer exclusive pets for players who play within a short period of the update kicking in. Past pets awarded this way include the Panda, and the Cooked Owl.
However, we recommend arriving BEFORE the update drops. The hour before the update is known as Admin Abuse. This is when the lead dev Jandel, activates a lot of admin-only events in-game. This is a great way to grab a ton of special, high-value mutations to make lots of money before the update rolls around.
