Discover where to find Wisps in Fisch using this guide, and where they’re used to get your hands on a new, powerful and limited Fischfright rod. Also in this guide, I detail the lesser-known Wisp mutation, including its value and how it manifests.

Where to Find Wisps in Fisch
Wisps spawn around the gravestones that litter the grounds where the Nessie statue resides at Crooks Hallows.
To find the Graveyard, first locate The Headless Horseman. Fortunately, he is easy to spot thanks to his name appearing above his head. From where he stands, find the wooden signpost pointing to the Graveyard and head down the path and slightly left to reach it.
Wisps appear as a blue encasing aura around the headstone of each grave. Each one eventually respawns, though I’ve never seen more than 1 Wisp spawned at a time.
How to Use Wisps
Wisps are necessary for the Headless Horseman’s second quest, Jack-o-Blazer II, where he requests you bring him x5 Wisps.
There are 5 quests in total, with the grand reward being the Jack-o-Blazer Rod, which hosts the following stats and passives:
- Lure Speed: 96%
- Luck: 66.6%
- Control: 0.16 (46% Width)
- Resilience: 66%
- Max Weight: Infinite KG
- Line Distance: ?m
20% chance for Wicked Mutation (x6.6x Value) and a 2% chance for Jack’s Curse Mutation (x16.6 Value).
Every second, a Jack-o-Lantern falls, increasing progress by +8%. Alongside this, the rod has a +15% Progress Speed.
Wisp Mutation
Aside from a physical quest item, Wisps appear as a mutation, too. It’s only obtainable during either of the Admin-exclusive weather events, Spectral Tide (1.8% Chance), and Spectral Storm (20% Chance).
Fish enhanced by the Wisp mutation have their value increased by x5.5.
