If you’ve recently tried to trade with someone, you would have seen a message appear saying ‘trading is disabled’. So, why is trading disabled in Fisch? We’ll go into some of the reasons why this may be happening.
Although you can’t trade, you can still fish! Start catching all sorts of creatures over on Roblox. The latest update added a new sea you can explore, so make sure you familiarise how to get there using our How To Get To The Second Sea In Fisch guide.
Why Is Trading Disabled In Fisch?
At the moment, players in Fisch can’t trade. Before, you could offer something to someone else and trade. This was one-sided, which means someone could exchange something and not get anything in return. Players may have wanted to trade something of equal value, only for the other person to take the fish given to them and then disappear!
Reasons Why
The most obvious reason for disabling trading is to prevent scams. However, it is also likely due to people exploiting this game mechanism and using it to farm.
Throughout Fisch, there are various quests and puzzles that require players to obtain rare creatures. One possible reason for disabling trading is that players were using bots to farm or hack the game. This would allow them to obtain creatures without actually spending the time catching them.
Another reason is duping. Players may be duping fish in exchange for large profit, which gives them cash, which they can then use to quickly progress in the game.
Discord Message
The official Fisch Discord server has also blacklisted the word “Trading.” This means that you can’t ask on there, or even mention trading! If you send three blacklisted words, the server will mute you for an hour.
We don’t know how long trading will remain disabled, so we can only wait and see!
