9th Dawn Remake is landing on Android soon and Valorware has dropped a new mobile trailer for the upcoming release. The revamped open-world adventure RPG is launching on mobile on May 1st for both Android and iOS.

Meanwhile, the game is heading to consoles on April 24th, 2025. The mobile version won’t be a stripped-down version, it’ll be a full port. The original 9th Dawn dropped in 2012, and this is a reimagined version of it.

What’s New in the Remake?

The game is actually getting a full makeover. Well, almost. The combat is tighter, the world is bigger, and the story has also been rewritten with fresh plotlines.

The new version adds over 45 handcrafted dungeons and a ton of monsters. If you’re a loot hoarder, there’s enough gear, potions and weird collectibles to keep your inventory bursting at the seams.

You kick off your journey trying to solve the mystery of a missing lighthouse keeper. But things spiral fast with evil power, creepy castle and continent-wide danger entering the plot.

The Castle of Maltyr is the ultimate monster hangout. So, you’ll need to level up, hatch monster pets from eggs and forge some weapons to save Montelorne.

9th Dawn Remake also has a few weird and wonderful distractions if you need a break from slashing demons. Fishing s is now a Fishing Survivors minigame which is part bullet hell, part worm-wrangling chaos.

And then there’s Deck Rock, where you collect campaign maps, build a killer card deck and take your paper champions through roguelike dungeons. It’s like two side games that could be entire games on their own.

On mobile, you’ll get to explore the full world of Montelorne, complete with side quests, co-op play (both local and online) and a full translation setup for global players.

The mobile version of 9th Dawn Remake hits stores for $9.99 on May 1st as you must have seen in the trailer. To learn more about the game, check out the official website.
