Seems like arcade-style aerial shootouts are making a comeback. Skystone Games has opened pre-registration for ACECRAFT: Skyhero, a vertical-scrolling bullet-hell shooter. Its speciality is that it’s a 2-player co-op built solely with mobile gameplay in mind.

The game outs you into the cockpit of the Ark of Hope to defend Cloudia from the incoming Nightmare Legion. Cloudia is a floating fantasy world among the clouds filled with candy-covered regions and gothic witch manors.
It has been plunged into chaos, and it’s up to a duo of ace pilots to fix that. You can choose from 8 pilots with distinct upgradable wingmen. The pilot backstories are also part of the journey, which you can unlock through progression and exploration.
ACECRAFT: Skyhero mixes bullet hell with roguelike systems and co-op strategy. The campaign centres around two-player coordination. You can bring a friend or match online with another player to take on enemies together for some short sessions.
The game offers a bullet absorption system. It lets you collect pink projectiles mid-air and repurpose them into offensive attacks. Pair that with the random roguelike skill combinations that drop during runs, and no two sky battles play out the same.
You can also hop aboard the Time Train to revisit key boss battles. It unlocks victory archives that track your conquests and highlight boss weaknesses. Also, you can explore a challenge mode, speedrun events, and global leaderboards.
Pre-register now and grab rewards
Pre-registration is now live on the Google Play Store. Early registrants will receive a bundle of launch-day items. If the game hits 3 million signups, you get two Cloudia Collectible Packs and 8,888 Gold.
The 5 million mark unlocks a Sub-zero Protective Jacket and 100 Random Blueprints. And 8 million unlocks 3 more Recruit Tickets and another 8,888 Gold.
