Albion Online is about to drop its next big update, the Abyssal Depths. Sandbox Interactive is rolling out the update on June 30th, 2025. It’s a revamp with many major changes. Keep reading to find out all about it.

What Are the Abyssal Depths in Albion Online?

There’s a new PvP dungeon on the way. The instanced PvP dungeons are designed for tight-knit groups of two or three, and the encounters are set in a collapsing environment.

You’ll be fighting off mobs and rival teams while scrambling to complete tactical objectives and gather spirits. Make sure to do that before the place falls apart around you. Risk and reward go hand-in-hand, and the devs have mentioned that there’ll be some unique loot to chase.

You can access the dungeons through Antiquarian’s Dens. They also serve as new launch points for Corrupted Dungeons and Hellgates. Both of them are getting some updates too, with improvements.

The Abyssal Depths update aims to make Albion Online more beginner-friendly. It’s going to do so by folding the post-tutorial experience into the Albion Journal.

Instead of bouncing between disconnected questgivers, new players will now have a clearer, more structured path that eases them into everything the game has to offer. Tasks start simple, but build into larger goals that touch on crafting, combat, the Destiny Board, and using buildings.

There are also some quality-of-life upgrades as well

The HUD Tracker is getting a streamlined look, while the interface is seeing tweaks to make it more intuitive. Also, there’s more interactivity in tutorial elements overall.

The Learning Points system is being completely reworked. There’s a new batch of Crystal Weapons to try out, and the Marketplace is getting a categorization overhaul.

The last few updates have focused more on the open world, but this one is different. So, grab Albion Online from the Google Play Store to check out the new update.
