You don’t have to be suspicious of this news! But it is true, Among Us is getting a new map titled The Fungle. This Fun-gle (hehe) new map takes the crewmates to a new world off the ship where plenty of tasks familiar and new must be completed. But of course, imposters lurk to sabotage every stride of the way.
Emergency Meeting!
After hovering too close to a new planet, persistent spores and mushrooms infect the spaceship forcing the crewmates to crash land. Now entering The Fungle, the crew must take on a ton of new chores to survive. Though, of course, this is never made easy as there is an imposter amongst them. Oh hey, that’s why it’s called Among Us!
This is the ultimate game of betrayal and gaslighting. Convince the other players you’re not the imposter and try to complete all the assigned tasks before you’re hunted for sport. Unless you ARE the imposter in which case, rampage and lie to deflect the truth onto an innocent.
Red Is Sus
The Fungle is the 5th map to enter the game, but is the first map where the crew is fully exposed to the elements and drop-shipped. The new terrain is packed with a bunch of new tasks to do, including chopping rather suspicious-looking food!
You may be wondering how the imposter will vent within this edition. Well, with a lack of vents to speak of, imposters must rely on jawed snapping plants to get around. Gross. If you’re also wondering when this map drops don’t worry we are getting to that now!
The crew will be crashing their ship later this month. Innersloth hasn’t mentioned the exact date yet, but we at least know The Fungle will be upon us this October. If you can’t wait in the meantime, pick up Among Us on the Play Store and explore the other maps!
