Arcanox: Cards vs Castle has received its first major update today, brings Guilds to the game

Back in March a pretty enjoyable new game called Arcanox: Cards vs Castles was released. Since then the developer has been hard at work making the first major update for Arcanox and today is the day this first update will be released. There have been previous updates but they were small ones, generally about bug fixes and improvements to the game. This one is all new features and content.

So what is arriving with this update? Arcanox now features a Guild system where players can now team up with one another in a Guild. Players can either create their own Guild or join an existing one. There is also a really interesting new Borrow feature. This allows for players to borrow cards for other guild members to use temporarily. So if you happen to need a specific card for something, and your friend has it, you can borrow it for a short amount of time (3 hours or once you use it), then it is returned to the owner automatically. Guild members can borrow up to 4 cards at once.

Expanding on the new Guild system, members of a Guild can do daily challenges. As you beat these challenges, your Guild will be able to increase the amount of players who can join. Eventually the amount of members does top out at 50. Guilds can also have their own badge, or crest if you will, which can be designed in-game. There is a possible 5145 badge combinations possible. Since the game has become a lot more social with the Guild feature, players can also now view other player’s profiles, this includes plenty of stats and if it’s a guild member’s profile, you can also see their decks. Guilds also have their own chat channel now.

Lastly, three new card packs have been added to the game which players can buy if they want to. While you can purchase extra rubies to buy these new cards packs with real money, it is also pretty easy to save up enough that you can earn in-game to also buy them. There has also been a lot of small adjustments made to the game for balancing as well as bug fixes and additional improvements, all of which you can check out in the official changelog.

If you play Arcanox: Cars vs Castles, this update is now available for download. If you want to try this game out, downloading a copy of Arcanox is free off of Google Play.
