After dropping Genesis Part 1 in June, ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition has launched the Genesis Part 2 expansion. The update closes out the original ARK storyline, following directly after the events of Part 1. Keep reading to find out what’s in store.

A vast new world

You awaken aboard a colossal deep-space colony ship, greeted once again by the AI companion HLN-A. Post that, you’re immediately thrust into a final confrontation with the twisted Sir Edmund Rockwell.

Genesis Part 2 brings a massive map to ARK Mobile. The Genesis Ship is split into two enormous rings. The right side, Eden, is a lush, green expanse filled with familiar wildlife and traditional terrain.

The left side is a corrupted ring, bathed in eerie purple hues and home to grotesque, mutated lifeforms under Rockwell’s control. Between them lies the Space zone. It’s a hazardous expanse scattered with asteroids that transform after hyperspace events.

There are plenty of new story missions and biomes. You’ll see places like the serene plateaus and waterfalls of the Eden Zone and the hostile Corrupted Gardens, a region warped by Rockwell’s experiments.

Catch a glimpse of the expansion below.

ARK Mobile Genesis Part 2 brings new creatures

The Maewing doubles as both a nurturing caretaker and a swift glider, while Noglins use brain-controlling abilities to turn enemies against each other. The Astrodelphis is a spacefaring creature which contrasts sharply with the imposing Stryder, a robotic workhorse.

Shadowmane can vanish in plain sight, Voidwyrms add aerial combat threats, and the Summoner can call forth its own allies mid-battle. Meanwhile, loot and rewards in the expansion include rare Tek items.

Genesis Part 2 is available at no extra cost if you have subscribed to the ARK Pass. If not, you can purchase it separately for $9.99. So, check out ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition on the Google Play Store.
