FunPlus has launched a new crossover event in State of Survival, bringing the 1992 sci-fi blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day into the game. The event is live now and introduces characters, skins, bosses, story missions, themed activities, and collectibles based on the film.

There’s a story in the State of Survival x Terminator 2: Judgment Day collab

The story sets up a collision between two apocalypses. After a malfunction damages their time machine, Sarah Connor and an aging T-800 end up stranded in the harsh, post-collapse landscape of State of Survival.

Their arrival doesn’t go unnoticed as Skynet dispatches the T-1000 to hunt them down. This time, Skynet has merged the zombie virus with its own nanomachine technology. So, you can guess how much damage it can do with its half virus and half machine composition.

The T-800 is available with a default Endoskeleton skin and two unlockable variants, which are the standard T-800 and the damaged version. Sarah Connor joins as a separate hero. The T-1000 stands as the main villain boss during the event.

The crossover also adds figurines, capital city skins, in-city decorations, marching vehicles, avatar frames, and a card collection book to track and earn rewards. Take a peek at the trailer right here.

New event modes are live

Battle for Tomorrow (Solo) focuses on small temporal anomalies that appear near your Settlement. The anomalies act as Skynet’s portals for sending assassins back in time. The mission here is to stop the T-1000 before it reaches Sarah Connor.

Meanwhile, the alliance version of Battle for Tomorrow is also here. The Final Hope intercepts a transmission from the future. It reveals Skynet’s intent to send an entire army of Terminators through a temporal singularity to eliminate Sarah.

Next, Cyberdyne Crisis recreates the fight to prevent Skynet’s continued development. The T-1000 stirs up waves of Infected to take control of Cyberdyne Systems, while the T-800 mounts a counterattack from a helicopter. The battle includes relentless waves of monsters, explosives, and the boss itself.

In Steel Pursuit, you ride with the T-800 on his motorcycle, using a shotgun. You pick up grenade launcher rounds along the way to confront the heavy truck driven by the T-1000. Success depends on blasting through monsters, dodging environmental hazards, and destroying the truck to escape through the storm drains.

The final mode is Puzzle Dash. T-1000 has corrupted Cyberdyne’s data, and you need to drag scattered pieces from the right panel to complete an image of the Terminator on the left.

As you can see, there’s A LOT to uncover! So, grab the game from the Google Play Store and jump in!
