Ash of Gods: Redemption has rolled out its REWORKED edition. Developed by AurumDust, the update completely redefines how the turn-based RPG feels and plays. It marks the game’s biggest overhaul since its debut.
Every part of the game, from combat to visuals, has been rebuilt!
First of all, you now get to pick between two modes. The original Vanilla version is for the classic feel, while the Reworked version brings a refreshed and more refined system. AurumDust says this choice was directly influenced by long-time community feedback.
The new turn-order system is next on the list. Previously, smaller teams had an edge because they could cycle turns faster. That’s no longer the case. Now, every character on the battlefield must take their turn before a new round begins. Smaller squads still get to move first.
In terms of movement, characters can now move multiple times in a turn. And, enemies now use cards more strategically and with greater variety as the Reaping level rises. In certain battles, they even draw from special decks rather than random ones.
Ash of Gods: Redemption – Reworked has adjusted items to make them more practical, especially during early-game stages. Another welcome quality-of-life tweak is the ability to see enemy health bars during pre-battle positioning.
Meanwhile, the Gells faction which was previously known for running out of energy too quickly has received a major energy boost. Other characters like Gleda and Lo Pheng have also received tweaks to make them better on the battlefield.

The update transforms the game into a more modern, tactical experience. All of the changes and additions reflect years of iteration and direct player input. Oh, and the game now runs at a crisp 60 FPS, doubling the old 30 FPS cap.
The update is now available on the Google Play Store. In case you want to try out the demo first, you can find it here.
