Atomicom hits up Kickstarter for their next game called Super Off-Road

Our friends over at Atomicom hit us up to let us know that they have started a Kickstarter campaign for their next title slated for multiple platforms, including Android, called Super Off-Road. For those of you who may not recognize Atomicom, they developed Bang Bang Racing THD and Switch for Android. Fair warning right now, the pitch video is downright hilarious and slightly NSFW due to a little language.

Super Off-Road will be Atomicom’s next racing game which will be hitting a bunch of different platforms including Android. This new game features some of the more old school racing game mechanics from the arcade days where you had to race against the clock and you get more time if you reach check points. However, the visuals are not old school and instead already look to be some pretty slick 3D renders.

This isn’t a top-down Micromachine-style racing game either like a lot of the racing games released in the recent past. Instead it is the standard behind and above viewpoint. Like any good racing game, there will be upgrades to your vehicle(s) that you can purchase from the money you earn winning races in events and championships, air time, drift time and more. You can pick your vehicle from buggies, sports cars, SUVs, and trucks.

Right now Atomicom’s Kickstarter, which they launched during GamesCom that is happening right now, is looking for $30,000 to get the game funded and done. If for no other reason, aside from the game looking like it will be fun, you might want to back this project due to the fact they got the pissed off Diablo 3 player, named Francis, who is always raging about Diablo 3’s Error 37 on YouTube to do their pitch video. Definitely watch it and check out the rewards, they are pretty sweet.
