If you haven’t heard of this yet, you’re seriously missing out. It takes everything you like about Civ but repackages it so it all makes sense to newcomers.

It’s fast, flashy, utterly gorgeous, and far from lacking in the strategy that makes Civ so addictive.
The base game is free to play, though you’ll have to purchase one of the extra tribes to unlock multiplayer. They’re less than the price of a coffee each, so it’s a small price to pay for a massive new feature.
