[UPDATE: Game Released] Blast geometric shapes out of the sky in PolyBlast, coming this Thursday

PolyBlast is an arcade shooter that’s coming soon to Android. The gameplay is akin to the classics, such as Galaga, where players fire projectiles upward from the bottom of the screen. The goal of the game is to eliminate the various geometric patterns that are creeping downward from the top of the screen.

[UPDATE: Thursday, October 15th – 12:06 AM, PST] The latest game from the Game Cooks is now available to download in the Google Play Store. If you enjoy arcade gaming, Polyblast will challenge you. The game is free to download and does include optional in-app purchases. The link to download the game can be found at the end of this article.

Players will have three different firing stations to work from, and all have a finite amount of ammunition to use. This forces a certain amount of strategy, to keep from running out of ammo before the level is finished. To assist with this, players can trigger a Frenzy Mode, where players get unlimited ammo for five seconds; achieving this happens when the player lands five consecutive direct hits.

PolyBlast Features:

– Challenging arcade game with a puzzle twist
– Two Modes: Single and multi-player challenge
– 6 challenging worlds with 15 levels each and 1 supreme world

PolyBlast will have three worlds available immediately, and three more when players purchase the premium pack, which also removes the game’s ads. This game will be arriving onto Android on Oct. 15th, 2015, which is this Thursday. We will post an update once it arrives.
