Blind Man’s Dungeon arrives on Google Play with a lot of potential to become a hit

For those of you who enjoy crawling dungeons for loot and monster killing enjoyment, there is a new game on Google Play called Blind Man’s Dungeon. Developed by URARA WORKS and Skipmore, this neat little retro style dungeon crawler definitely isn’t your typical game from this genre.

Blind Man’s Dungeon isn’t your standard dungeon crawling game where you just wander around trying to find treasure and dispatching various monsters who are intent on eating you for a mid-day snack. You will actually have to do a little thinking with the game to ensure your hero doesn’t meet an untimely death. It is how you control your hero that makes this game pretty unique.

You don’t actually control your hero at all. What you do control is a little guardian fairy that you move around each level with your finger. As you move the fairy around it will spawn blocks. Your hero will be walking forward and when he runs into a wall he will turn right. So you will have to plan where you move your fairy in order for your hero to collect the loot in each level, avoid the traps and monsters.

When monsters run into traps, both the monster and trap disappear. If you run into a trap or monster, you will take damage. You do have a magic spell though that you can unleash which will take care of all the traps in the level you use it on. All of this unique gameplay is wrapped up in some great retro graphics to enjoy.

The reason why we say this game has such potential is that there are some bugs that need to be fixed in the game. When those get fixed, and if the developer keeps updating the game with more content, Blind Man’s Dungeon could really gain quite a following with the dungeon crawler crowd.

So for this July 4th, and every other day after it, if you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary to play in your free time, you might want to check out Blind Man’s Dungeon. You can download this game off of the Google Play store or from our Google Play synced catalog for free. Just to clarify, yes the game is in English.
