Brain Test 5: Tricky Challenge is out on mobile, marking the latest entry in the Brain Test Series by Unico Studio. According to the studio, it’s the biggest instalment yet from them. You get to solve short-form, self-contained brain teasers which dive into absurdity and quick thinking.

Take a Brain Test 5: Tricky Challenge

The game gives a chain of compact mental obstacles, each built around a single, often mischievous idea. One stage might ask you to figure out how to warm up a freezing house, while another revolves around preparing food the correct way.

You might need to save a man from killing himself or save another person who walks in his sleep. You might also need to fix the toilet or help someone reach the top of a pole to fetch a flag. There are other scenarios, too, such as making a little boy fly with the help of a bunch of balloons.

The presentation brings back the series’ recognisable cartoony aesthetic. Characters and environments are drawn in a light, approachable style. Individual puzzles can be completed in under a minute.

One notable structural change in this game is the new Life and Fail system. Earlier entries in the franchise allowed for relatively unrestricted experimentation, but Brain Test 5: Tricky Challenge introduces a system that limits the number of attempts you can make. This feature comes in the later levels, pushing players toward more careful problem-solving.

Will you get it? Brain Test 5: Tricky Challenge offers more than 100 puzzles. It’s free to play with optional in-app purchases, such as boosters and extra hints. The game lets you play offline, just like the previous titles. So, check it out on the Google Play Store.
