gumi has opened up pre-registration for Brave Frontier Versus, the latest entry in the Brave Frontier franchise. First launched in 2013, the series is now returning in a different form. Instead of the usual JRPG format, this upcoming game will be a digital trading card game.
Still the same spirit of summoners calling on legendary heroes!
In Brave Frontier Versus, battles move fast. Each match is capped at five turns, so there’s no waiting around for your opponent to finish.
You can deploy multiple units from the very first turn. And with cards reviving every round, strategies shift constantly. Up to six units can be on the field at once, which makes for battles that feel both offensive and defensive at the same time.
The series’ signature Brave Bursts return as well. This time, they come with Manifestation Cards that show up on the third and fifth turns.
Decks are built entirely from character cards. So, newbies won’t need to dig through layers of complexity to start playing. On that note, catch a glimpse of the latest trailer below.
Brave Frontier Versus pre-registration is live now
gumi has opened pre-registration for Brave Frontier Versus. They’re running a milestone campaign with rewards based on the number of sign-ups.
At 10,000 pre-registrations, players will receive 2 Melody of Fire and Ice, 2 Symphony of Earth and Thunder, and 2 Hymn of Light and Darkness.
At 30,000, the rewards increase to 3 of each, and at 50,000, they jump to 5 of each. Hitting the 100,000 milestone will unlock 1,000 free Gems for everyone.
Pre-register the game on the Google Play Store now to grab the rewards once it launches. The expected date of release is on October 22nd, 2025.
