The rift to the Upside Down has opened already. Yep, Stranger Things has entered Starr Park in Brawl Stars. Supercell is collaborating with Netflix just ahead of the series’ fifth season debut on November 26th at 5 pm PT. The crossover is running from November 6th to December 3rd, 2025.
Things are about to get… Strange!
You can now explore a darker, Stranger Things-inspired version of Starr Park filled with Demogorgons and Vecna. And the best part is that it brings a new collectible, which will probably remind you of Eleven straight away. It’s Waffles!
The Waffles serve as the Brawl Stars x Stranger Things collab’s main currency. You can use it to unlock cosmetics, power-ups, and collectibles.
The event adds a bunch of special skins from the Netflix show. You’ll see Draco as Eddie Munson, Bull as Hopper, Lumi as Eleven, and Gus as Will. Meanwhile, Nita channels Dustin, and Berry shows up dressed in the classic Scoops Ahoy uniform as Steve.
Brawl Stars x Stranger Things brings a new game mode
It’s the Upside showDown. It reimagines the classic Showdown mode by mixing roguelite and battle royale mechanics. You get temporary Power Cards that upgrade your chosen Brawler’s abilities before each round.
If you manage to survive five rounds and return to the surface, you’ll secure the maximum rewards. Oh, and the tagline is as fun as the mode itself. It’s “Winner, winner, waffle dinner!”
You can join forces to battle Vecna or the Demogorgon in special co-op challenges. The themed 3v3 and Showdown maps are also getting a makeover. They’re replacing Starr Park’s bright look with a much darker, creepier atmosphere straight from the Upside Down.
