After originally releasing on Quest 2 and Quest 3 last year, Bridge Constructor Studio has landed on mobile and Steam. The game returns to the roots of the franchise but brings some flexibility along with it. You get more creative freedom in this version.

Bridge Constructor Studio has tons of puzzles spread across five different biomes. You’ll be designing bridges in miniature 3D dioramas set in snowy canyons, cities, valleys, and more.
Each environment brings different challenges, like vehicles, terrain types, and materials. You’ll deal with delivery vans, buses, timber trucks and monster trucks, with ramps, loops, and even moving level objects. There are seven types of vehicles in total, and each one plays differently.
The game uses a budget system. Each level offers multiple ways to solve it based on the materials you choose: wood, steel, cables, or concrete. You also get colour-coded stress indicators and the option to go for low-cost solutions if you’re into optimisation.

The game has two DLCs as in-app purchases. First is the Trains DLC, which introduces the Choonited Kingdom. You get three new islands with 18 extra levels. The expansion adds new vehicles, including a commuter train and a heavy freight train. You’ll need to build sturdier bridges to support their weight in new scenery like ravines and mountain landscapes.
Then there’s the SlopeMania DLC, which takes place on the Tiltin Islands. It adds 24 more levels, including sloping roads and colourful underground grottoes. Some of these levels are Crazy Levels, which let you work with height differences and unconventional layouts.
