Danmaku Unlimited 3, the acclaimed shooter from Doragon Entertainment, is currently on sale for 99c – a $4 discount from its normal price of $4.99.
Released on Android in 2017, Danmaku Unlimited 3 belongs to the bullet-hell subgenre. As that label suggests, it involves a lot of projectiles. Most of the time the screen looks like a fireworks display, or a cartoon rave, or a seizure. The soundtrack is similarly high octane.
It’s Not as Tough as a Cave Shooter
That said, Danmaku Unlimited 3 isn’t as mind-meltingly tough as shooters like DoDonPachi and Espgaluda. One of the few bullet-hell not to have been developed by the sadistic designers at Cave, it offers a slightly more accessible take.
