CBE, otherwise known as Cardboard Box Entertainment, are gearing up to release a new action puzzle game called Vampires! onto a variety of platforms soon. Wrapped up in some pretty solid looking visuals, this new game will have you helping out the poor defenseless vampires instead of staking them through the heart.
Definitely not a vampire game of the Twilight variety, Vampires! will have you moving around chunks of the playing field, lining up paths for the vampires to take back to their crypts before dawn comes. You’ll have to avoid beams of sunlight and a variety of traps by switching these chunks of land around. At times there can be quite a few vampires that you’ll need to watch over, making this game rather hectic at times.

You do have a few tools available aside from switching around land chunks such as the spider web nets to slow vampires down as they walk through them. There is also a selection of leaderboards available for both the good and the bad that happens in the game.
Right now Vampires! is slated for release onto PC, MAC, iOS and Android in Q4 2012 but you can actually play a demo of the game now on your PC for free if you want to give the game a shot now. No word on final pricing when it arrives. The demo is available through the link below.
