Civil War has also arrived on the campus of Marvel Avengers Academy

It seems like the Civil War storyline from the upcoming Captain America movie is making its way into more and more mobile games. A week and a half ago we reported on Marvel Puzzle Quest regarding that game getting the Civil War storyline as an event in-game, which is actually launching today. However Marvel Avengers Academy is also getting into the Civil War action now as well.

Players of Marvel Avengers Academy will now have the opportunity to participate in the Civil War storyline as an in-game event as well. Just like Marvel Puzzle Quest, players in this game will find themselves with a choice, whether to join Iron Man’s faction or Captain America’s group. Each one takes a leadership role of one of the two opposing groups with vastly different opinions on how to best defend the Avengers Academy.

Captain America, ever responsible and traditional in his methods, is determined to set up a training facility in order to better train the students. Meanwhile, Iron Man, the self-proclaimed genius with a supply of everlasting ego and charm, believes in building an army of robots to protect Avengers Academy. – Civil War at the Academy

This event will run the course of weeks, with students having to choose which side to be on. Each week, you will unlock a new piece of the Civil War story, and this will unlock different quests to complete and prizes to earn, all of which will depending on the Super Hero (Captain America or Iron Man) you choose. Since this will also split up friends who pick different sides, they will end up battling it out in combat and in school-wide activities.

The Civil War event has started in Marvel Avengers Academy so if you have this game installed, you should already be able to jump right into it.
