Clash Royale is turning nine, so it’s going to be a huge celebration at the Arena! The 9th birthday season of Clash Royale is full of new challenges, a fresh Evolution and some free chests for all players.
Grab Your Decks Because the Hunter Just Got an Upgrade!
The spotlight is on Hunter, who is getting a powerful upgrade that changes the way he controls the battlefield. Hunter’s Evolution introduces a Net that traps the nearest enemy troop, preventing them from moving or attacking.
If the trapped troop is flying, it gets pulled down and becomes vulnerable to ground attacks. It makes Hunter Evolution an excellent choice for shutting down enemy pushes or supporting win-condition troops like Royal Giant.
But of course, no card is without its counters. Ice Spirit or Ice Golem can disrupt Hunter before he gets the chance to use his ability. So, try to avoid them and may luck be on your side!
The Clash Royale 9th Birthday Season is Filled with Events and Challenges
There are tons of events going down during the season. Hunter Evolution Draft runs from March 3rd to 10th, letting you build decks with Card Evolutions. Then, Evolutions Mayhem follows from March 10th to 17th, allowing up to four Evolution Cards in a deck.
Next, Champion Triple Draft arrives on March 17th and runs until March 24th. It offers a strategic draft-based battle format. From March 24th to 31st, there’s the Mirror, Mirror challenge which ensures an even playing field by giving both players identical decks.
Finally, Evolutions Mayhem returns from March 31st to April 7th. It allows up to eight Evolution Cards this time for maximum impact. All of these challenges come with their own rewards, including Banner Frames, Banner Decorations and Season Tokens.
Also, since it’s Clash Royale’s birthday, there are free gifts available in the Supercell Store. Players in Arena 2-10 can claim a free King’s Chest, while those in Arena 11 and above will receive a Legendary King’s Chest.
