Devsisters has begun pre-registration for CookieRun: OvenSmash. This new title is expanding the CookieRun franchise into a new direction as its first real-time PvP battle action game. The studio is otherwise known globally for its side-scrolling runners and character-driven mobile titles.
Stepping into competitive three-minute matches with direct PvP combat
The setting in this one shifts to Platter City. It’s a sprawling metropolis organised around a central spectacle known as the Oven Crown Cup tournament. Within the urban fantasy backdrop, you form teams of Cookies with the goal of claiming Oven Crowns, which grant wishes.
It offers head-to-head encounters that demand quick reactions and coordinated strategy. Matches last around three minutes and use intuitive 3D controls. Each Cookie fills a defined battlefield role and comes with a distinct ability set.
Spell Cards are for applying debuffs, triggering giant transformations, or unleashing area of effect abilities. When used at the right moment, these cards can reverse momentum or secure a comeback.
At launch, CookieRun: OvenSmash will feature multiple PvP formats that include both team-based and solo modes. One of them is Castle Crasher. Here, one team escorts a turtle with the objective of destroying the opposing castle while the defending side attempts to stop the push.
Another mode, Drop the Beat, centres on control of a stage in the middle of the map. It has rhythmic beats actively shaping the rules of engagement during the fight. More team and solo modes will be unveiled closer to launch.

Pre-registration for CookieRun: OvenSmash is now live on the Google Play Store. The full launch is set for March 26th, 2026. It will be free to play. Devsisters has released an official teaser for the game, too. Watch it right here.
