Acram Digital has kicked off the mobile beta test for its upcoming solo strategy game Dawnmaker. Developed by Arpentor Studio, the game originally arrived on PC in 2024. Acram Digital, known for Stone Age and Concordia Digital Edition, is publishing it on mobile.

The Dawnmaker mobile beta test invitations have been sent to interested players. Do note that only selected testers are being invited for this round. Those who made the cut will find every instruction they need in their email, from downloading the build to starting the opening campaign.

Once the mobile beta test wraps up, the team plans to fine-tune Dawnmaker using player reports before the final release. In the meantime, you can pre-register the mobile version if you don’t get a place in the beta.

What’s the game like?

Set on the continent of Heksiga, it revolves around a land engulfed in toxic Smog. Players need to reignite ancient lighthouses and restore the structures. Because that pushes the Smog back and opens up precious building space.

Dawnmaker blends turn-based strategy, city building and deck building. New cards are unlocked as each city expands, and their interactions with existing buildings can shift the efficiency of a run.

The map encourages puzzle-like planning, where tile placement and long-term cohesion matter as much as the immediate outcome. Every tile, card and structure has to be positioned with intent because the shrinking usable area makes missteps costly.

As settlements grow, you juggle farms, industry, scientific advancements and push toward producing the rare resource known as Eclairium. The lighthouse remains the centre-piece of every run. Progressing through Heksiga also involves tracking down remnants of the old Empire to rediscover lost technologies.

You can check the game out on the Google Play Store. It’s set to land on mobile on December 18th at $8.99.
