Owlchemy Labs’ omniversal co-op game Dimensional Double Shift is landing on the Samsung Galaxy XR on December 11th, 2025. And the best part is that Galaxy XR users get it for free. The VR game was first released in September 2024 for Meta Quest headsets.
Owlchemy Labs is the Google-owned team behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator. The team is treating this as a full-on expansion of the workforce, not a side gig! They also confirmed full feature parity on Galaxy XR. So, all updates released so far are included along with optimisations for Android XR’s spatial computing tech.
Dimensional Double Shift will include cross-play
Galaxy XR players won’t have to worry about understaffing the Gas N Grill. That’s because you get full cross-play with Meta Quest headsets. If your friends are already working their way through the Omniverse on Quest, Galaxy XR users can join the same shift without missing anything.
The Galaxy XR version of Dimensional Double Shift launches with the different dimensions Treeattle, Hexas, and New Joysey. Treeattle brings the corporate coffee culture and constant rain. Meanwhile, Hexas offers a neon theme park that feels like an intergalactic hazard waiting to happen.
New Joysey throws you into a dimension full of muscle cars, grease traps, and fog machines. You’ll find customers who will definitely ask to speak to the manager, even though the manager is fully sentient and probably judging them already.
What makes the launch stand out is how Galaxy XR’s hardware lines up with Owlchemy’s slapstick style. Its hand, eye, and face tracking let you rely on every gesture, accidental or intentional, landing exactly how you mean it.
That includes high fives, failed high fives, perfectly aimed tosses, perfectly unplanned tosses, sabotage attempts that backfire, and even passive-aggressive stares. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below!
If you own the Samsung Galaxy XR, you can download Dimensional Double Shift from the website.
