Gameloft is preparing to roll out Disney Speedstorm Season 14 update. It’s titled No Toy Gets Left Behind and kicks off on July 3rd across all platforms. Judging by the name, you might have got a hint already. The new season is based on characters from Toy Story.
Who Are the New Toys Coming to Disney Speedstorm Season 14?
Firstly, three new racers are coming, including Forky, Lotso, and Emperor Zurg. Forky takes on the Defender role, turning trash into a defensive shield. He can spin a ring of garbage around himself that blocks one enemy hit per piece. And if an opponent gets hit, Forky gets a small speed boost.
In fact, Forky can jump out of his own kart and throw himself forward. If he collides with another racer, that racer gets a speed boost, and Forky gets launched further ahead.
Meanwhile, Lotso joins as a Trickster. He can give out a big bear hug that slows down rivals and marks them. When he roars, marked racers are hit with even more slowdown, and Lotso benefits more depending on how many racers he has marked.
Lastly, Emperor Zurg takes on the Brawler role. He can stun rivals and pick up speed boosts. When he charges up, he unleashes a cluster of foam balls behind him that stun anyone in a large area.
Disney Speedstorm Season 14 is also adding new crew members, including Big Baby, Karen Beverly, Stretch, Chuckles, Bonnie, Twitch, Sparks, and others. New Tales Events will also debut. They are limited-time events which have a mix of PvE and PvP tasks, a global reward track, and a leaderboard. There will be daily rewards, and multiple Tales Events can run at once.
And Who Else?
During the Disney Speedstorm Season 14, you can unlock Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep for free. Several new Supercharged Racers are coming too, featuring Hercules, Elsa, EVE, Stitch, and Goofy. The Nightmare Before Christmas Vault is making a comeback as well, letting you pick up Jack Skellington, Sally, and Dr Finkelstein.
Later in the season, Chip n Dale are set to arrive as mid-season racers. Not much information about them has been revealed yet. Find the game on the Google Play Store and gear up to race with the toys.
