Dragon Quest Tact Gets an Official Release Date of January 27th

Dragon Quest Tact, Square Enix’s colorful tactical RPG, has got an official release date on mobile. It’s due out on January 27th.

The early access version of Dragon Quest Tact has been available on the Google Play Store for several months (and in Japan for yonks) so Android gamers are unlikely to notice much of a difference – though the full release will be more stable in principle.

In case you haven’t already downloaded it, Dragon Quest Tact sees you building a team of monsters and pitting them against other teams of monsters from the Dragon Quest series.

You’ll need to train, equip, and customise your colorful creatures, and deploy them judiciously in battle to push back the forces of the dark lord and save the kingdom of Orchesterra.

Dragon Quest Tact will be free to download, but you’ll be able to pay for gems (of course) and a Passport subscription, giving you various boosts and so on.

You can download Dragon Quest Tact in early access right now on the Google Play Store, and you’ll be able to download the proper game for free in a couple of weeks.
