A new mobile game has landed on Android involving aliens and UFOs. Drop Zone Galaxy is a new physics-based mobile game created by the indie Rabble Games Studio. It’s based on the theme of alien abductions, but with a twist.
The game had a launch on itch.io in October 2024. Now, it’s out on the Google Play Store in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The game is free to play
Let It Go in Drop Zone Galaxy
In Drop Zone Galaxy, the abducted humans are unwilling contestants on a game show in space. Yep, bizarre but fun. You control a UFO and drop humans from above. Your goal is to land them onto targets while they ragdoll their way through a bunch of unpredictable obstacles.
It’s a physics-based challenge where each bounce, toss, and teleportation is what makes the game. There are around 60 levels or episodes, as the game calls them. You’ll aim for precision drops, collect coins, and try to hit every target to earn three-star ratings.
Once you earn enough stars, they can bring you more rewards. For example, better scores translate into more money to spend at the UFO shop. It’s where you can trick out your flying saucer with cosmetic upgrades.

Flung Around
Drop Zone Galaxy keeps the controls minimal. You just use a single tap to drop a human, but timing matters. The audio adds another fun experience. The poor humans scream, and you’ll hear a variety of thuds when they bounce off alien-made contraptions.
If you’re looking for a fun, silly game, you can check out the game on the Google Play Store. It’s Rabble Games Studio’s second game. Apparently, they also have plans to explore tabletop games. I’m eagerly looking forward to what they bring for us.
