Dunk City Dynasty is a street basketball sim game which has just soft-launched in select regions. It’s officially licensed by US’s NBA and NBPA. It’s published by Exptional Global, a subsidiary of NetEase, on Android.
Where Has Dunk City Dynasty Soft Launched?
The game is now out in Australia and New Zealand for Android and iOS. It’s free to play and lets you have well-known players in your team. The soft launch login bonuses are bringing free Star Players, outfits, in-game currency and more.
As I said before, the game is NBA and NBPA certified, so you’ll be crossing up defenders and draining deep threes with real NBA stars. The roster includes Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Luka Dončić and James Harden.
You also have the option to rep teams like the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics. If you’re not in the soft-launch regions, pre-registrations are open worldwide on their official website.
And What About the Gameplay?
The gameplay looks promising. The Full Court Run mode throws you into 5v5 matchups where you can command a full NBA squad while also taking control of individual players. For more fast-paced action, the 11-point mode brings quick reflexes and team coordination. Then there are the Ranked matches which push you to climb the leaderboards.
You’ll be able to deck out your squad with NBA team logos and cosmetics. Dunk City Dynasty also offers smooth controls so you can pull off signature plays like Curry launching a three from the logo or Harden breaking ankles with a step-back.
You can mix and match outfits across eight different body parts, design your own sneakers in the Sneakers Workshop and now even rock official NBA jerseys. You can design your court too.
Dunk City Dynasty has a lot of variety. You get the 15-Point Item Game, a World Tour and Rhythm Shooting events for building skills beyond the standard matchups. It has has quick matchmaking so that you can jump into a game anytime.
