[E3 2014] Godfire: Rise of Prometheus gets a new trailer, a release date and a physical collector’s edition?

Vivid Games is at E3 2014 and decided to release a hefty amount of information regarding their upcoming game Godfire: Rise of Prometheus. As part of Vivid Games’ announcement, there is also a new trailer released for Godfire which reinforces the point that this game will have a ridiculous amount of eye candy to enjoy while you beat the crap our of your opponents.

Besides showing off more gameplay and eye candy in the new trailer, Vivid Games also used it to reveal the Survival Mode that will be arrive when the game launches. Survival Mode is pretty much as it sounds. You’ll be fighting countless waves of enemies that continuously get harder the longer you survive. Before you dive into Survival Mode though, you will be able to customize your character by selecting the power-up abilities before you begin. Survival Mode will also keep track of how well you do, letting you compete against your friends and how long they can survive.

While Godfire is looking to push the limits when it comes to eye candy, Vivid Games has also decided to do something we haven’t seen before in mobile gaming. They are offering up a collector’s edition of Godfire: Rise of Prometheus, aptly named the Titan Edition. When you buy this collector’s edition of Godfire, you will receive a highly detailed 8.7 inch / 22 cm figurine of Prometheus himself, 100-page hardcover art book showcasing the game’s unique design, a high-quality Godfire t-shirt, and a redeemable voucher code for the game. Purchasing this will be done through the game’s official website.

As for when this game will launch, Vivid Games has a target release date of June 19th, 2014 for iOS with Android getting Godfire later this year. No word on how much the Titan Edition will cost. Until then, check out the new trailer in the video below.
